Independent candidate Manish Anand who is contesting from the Chhatrapati Shivajinagar Assembly Constituency in Pune, has been officially endorsed by Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje’s Maharashtra Swarajya Party.
On this occasion, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje said, “The Maharashtra Swarajya Party has two important issues: one is to support the displaced, and the other is to give justice to those who are wronged and who want to do something for society. According to this point, we have officially awarded Manish Anand with support. It’s time to think how much Maharashtra has really developed in the last 75 years; where is the time for the established people to do politics of development? They spend all their time complaining about each other, and politics has gone to such a low level that it is no longer a political ethics.”
Manish Anand said, “The party in which I worked for so many years did injustice to me by denying me the ticket. But the direct descendants of whom this Chhatrapati Shivajinagar Constituency is named after believed in me and supported me. I am thankful to them. If the citizens of Chhatrapati Shivaji Nagar constituency give me an opportunity, I will surely seize this opportunity, he expressed his belief.”
Manish Anand is focusing mainly on educational facilities, traffic management, and unemployment issues in the Chhatrapati Shivajinagar constituency, is confident in winning the elections with a huge lead. Due to this decision of the Swarajya Party, independent candidates have gained more strength in Pune.
