PKL: Dabang Delhi K.C Triumph Over Tamil Thalaivas

Dabang Delhi K.C. dominated the Tamil Thalaivas, winning 39-26 at the GMCB Indoor Stadium while playing at their most fluid level. Both Yogesh and Ashish Malik recorded high fives during the Dabang Delhi K.C.’s merciless defensive display, and Ashu Malik continued his outstanding play to record another Super 10 in PKL 11.

This game was a toe-to-toe contest because the defensive units were in control of the first few exchanges. Ashish Malik and Narender Kandola were the only two raiders to score a few points each in the first ten minutes, but Yogesh and the rest of the Dabang Delhi K.C. defence were disciplined and ensured that their team had a slim two-point lead.

Moein Shafagi’s two-point raid put the Tamil Thalaivas on an even playing field. Sachin Tanwar appeared to find his rhythm again after a sluggish start as his team took a two-point lead of their own. His momentum was short-lived, though, as Yogesh’s Super Tackle on the raider put Dabang Delhi K.C. back ahead.

As soon as Yogesh finished his High 5, which included two Super Tackles, they took advantage of that momentum. He extended the lead to four points as the Dabang Delhi K.C. maintained their momentum to finish the first half comfortably ahead. With a spectacular two-point blitz, Manu put the score at 16-10 at the half.

In an instant, Dabang Delhi K.C. increased their lead to 10 points after Sachin gave Ashu Malik an ALL OUT. The captain made sure his team did not let the Tamil Thalaivas come back in this match by recording another Super 10, his eighth in nine games this season.

As the Season 8 champions remained unrelenting, particularly on defence, Ashish Malik became the second defender for Dabang Delhi K.C. to receive a High Five. Dabang Delhi K.C. ultimately won by a comfortable 13 points, earning them their fourth victory of the year.
