As the poll dates for the assembly elections are nearing in Pune, the contesting candidates are trying their best to reach out to the voters. Independent candidate Aba Bagul from the Parvati Constituency is doing door-to-door visits to meet the voters in the constituency in Pune.
Bagul has promised to provide quality education to the deprived sections of society by opening e-schools on the lines of the Rajiv Gandhi e-learning school in Pune. Aba Bagul has assured to start e-learning schools in all five wards of the Parvati Assembly Constituency.
Aba Bagul stated, “In times of rising inflation, parents from the poor, working classes of society should get quality education for their children. With the aim that no one should be deprived of education, e-learning schools on the lines of Rajiv Gandhi e-learning school will be set up in the next five years in the remaining 5 wards of Parvati Assembly Constituency.”
“Even though a metropolis like Pune is known as the Oxford of the East, the home of learning, the economically weaker sections of society are still deprived of quality education. That’s why I started Rajiv Gandhi Academy of e-Learning in 2011 by Pune Municipal Corporation by giving priority to vision, innovation and consideration of every element of society,” Bagul further added.
Aba Bagul, while talking to newsnetwork360.com, said, “The Rajiv Gandhi Academy of e-Learning has been providing quality education for the 13 years and is a role model in the country. Today, alumni of the school are pursuing successful professional careers in high positions in various fields. Students who are toppers in class 10th and 12th are getting admission in top institutes like IITs and are becoming toppers along with the meritorious students there. Some students are IPS officers and others are making a name for themselves in the engineering field. 500 students from E School, which has consistently maintained the tradition of 100% in results of 10th-12th and other examinations for the past several years, have achieved success in IIT and more than 1000 students in JEE. Not only this, Rajesh Agarwal, an ex-student of E School, has stood first in the country in the JEE Mains exam. Two students also qualified in the American space research organisation like ‘NASA’. This is a matter of pride for Punekars.”
Bagul further added by saying, “This is the only school not in Pune, but in the state, which has a waiting list of more than 1,500 in a municipal school, and this is the proof of quality education here. I met the then Prime Minister and Senior Economist Dr. Manmohan Singh and discussed the e-learning school project with him and even suggested he take this project on a national level.”
